Battery Box Kit
This battery box is built to fit 1946-1956 models, the 6-volt battery era. Although, we put a new 12 volt battery into this box and it fits just fine. The base is appoximately 9" x 7".
Designed to match the style and specifications of the original, with some customizations to improve the practicality for use with modern batteries.
Kit includes J-hook bolts, washers, and wing nuts. The custom strap and base hold downs are made to fit parallel or perpendicular, depending on where your batteries posts are.

- Steering Column and Pedal area are left intact to allow for customization.
- Extra material provided on the inboard side for use if needed.

Tailgate Hinge Kit
The most challenging part of the install is reusing the existing nuts and threads. This kit circumvents that issue by incorporating the Blind Nut Inserts, also known as Riv Nuts. If you do not have the special crimping tool associated with these nuts, simply weld them into place.
